AIQwen has published Qwen-Image-2.1-Turbo on Hugging Face, an accelerated checkpoint of Qwen-Image-2.1 for text-to-image generation and image editing with 8 denoising steps. The checkpoint uses the same 7B visual generation architecture, loads directly with QwenImage21Pipeline in Diffusers, and includes its recommended sampling schedule. It defaults to CFG=1 and uses prefix KV caching to reuse text and reference-image context across steps.

AIGoogle AI announces that SynthID.com is now available globally in English for verifying AI-generated images, video, and audio. The post also lists Nano Banana 2.1, EmbeddingGemma 2, Gemma 4 with BOTANIC-1, a Gemini business agent, and Guided Vision in Gemini Live.

AITencent has open-sourced Youtu-Parsing-Omni, a 5B-parameter omni-modal model that outputs a single structured JSON covering layout, text, tables, formulas, ASR, OCR, and video segments. It scores 96.96 Overall on OmniDocBench, the highest among the compared models, and ships with weights on Hugging Face, a vLLM plugin, and inference examples.

AINVIDIA published the Agile One S SSD Pick deployment model, GR00T N1.7 checkpoint 40000, on Hugging Face for SSD pickup tasks. The repository includes five ONNX graphs with external tensor files and two existing TensorRT BF16 engines, with original configurations and build metadata, but no retraining or re-export was performed. The files are not a robot deployment or safety qualification, and engine compatibility depends on the target GPU and TensorRT environment.

AINVIDIA has released a deployment model for Agile One S SSD pickup, based on GR00T N1.7 checkpoint 58000 and using three cameras: ego, left wrist, and right wrist. The repository republishes ONNX graphs, external tensor files, and two existing TensorRT BF16 engines without retraining or re-export, and the original export reported a numerical warning that full FP32, node, and BF16 parity did not pass all tolerances. The files are not a certified robot deployment or safety qualification.

AINVIDIA published the Agile One S Walk GR00T N2 checkpoint 1680, a walking deployment model with four cameras, on Hugging Face. The repository includes ONNX graphs, TensorRT BF16 plans/engines, and the original checkpoint files, republished without retraining or re-export. The shared Cosmos-Reason1-7B dependency and the Isaac/GR00T runtime must be set up separately, and the files are not a robot safety qualification.

AIJetBrains released Mellum2.1, a 12B mixture-of-experts coding model with 2.5B active parameters under Apache 2.0, emphasizing agentic programming. Under high load, its inference throughput in tokens is nearly twice that of Qwen3.5-9B in JetBrains' comparison, and multi-token prediction (MTP) speeds single-request responses by about 1.6x. The model is available on Hugging Face for local or private-infrastructure deployment, with GGUF and vLLM MTP support announced for later.

AIKingKong Technology has open-sourced the software stack for Jumper, a six-legged crab-style robot it designed, including its MuJoCo model, simulation scenes, reinforcement learning training and deployment tooling. Jumper has 22 degrees of freedom, measures about 400 by 400 by 200 mm, weighs about 1.8 kg and lists a maximum jump height of 400 mm or more. The mechanical CAD files, bill of materials, PCB designs and electrical schematics are not public, and RKNN inference on the real board has not yet been validated.

AIA LoRA for MiniMax H3 removes a person from video by tracking them with SAM 3.1 and generating the replacement background in overlapping windows. Users supply the original video and a clean version of its first frame.

AISimon Willison released ttok 1.0, changing its default tokenizer from GPT-4 to a newer GPT-5/GPT-6 tokenizer after finding the old default was outdated. OpenAI has not confirmed that GPT-6 shares the GPT-5 tokenizer, but William Liu's experiment found all seven GPT models tested reported 44,794 tokens on a 31-fixture corpus.

AIopenJiuwen, an open-source AI Agent platform built by Huawei teams with universities and enterprises, released and open-sourced an enterprise-grade AgentOS. AIThreatBook has acquired CyberStrikeAI, an open-source AI pentesting agent, after reports that attackers had used it in real intrusions. The company says it added guardrails to limit misuse but will put new capability enhancements into its commercial edition, and it argues defenders should control such tools. It also corrects an earlier threat intelligence report that linked the developer, a security engineer at Alipay, to government agencies, calling that attribution a false positive.

AISimon Willison has released ttok 0.4, a command-line tool for counting tokens built on OpenAI's open source tiktoken library. The update adds a --list-models command, fixes a Click warning, and updates CI, and the tool can run through uvx, for example with cat file.txt | uvx ttok.

AIShanghai AI Lab has open-sourced Intern-Decision, a family of 0.8B, 2B and 4B parameter models that return structured decisions with probabilities instead of free text. The developers self-report that the 4B model averages 90.02% accuracy across seven test suites, ahead of a commercial reference model at 88.74%, with about 44 milliseconds of local latency on a single RTX 4090. Weights are on Hugging Face, and MetaX says the models run on its hardware from launch.

AILaya is a 421-million-parameter non-autoregressive decision engine from Convai Innovations that returns calibrated option probabilities in a single forward pass with zero output tokens. This tutorial tests its zero-shot accuracy, probability calibration, temperature fitting, and abstention gating on the CLINC150 banking intent dataset.

AIXiaomi MiMo has released MiMo-V2.5-ASR, an open-source speech recognition model that the company says achieves state-of-the-art results across multiple benchmarks. The model supports bilingual Chinese–English recognition, Chinese dialects such as Wu, Cantonese, Hokkien, and Sichuanese, code-switching, and lyrics transcription. It is also designed to handle noisy environments and multi-speaker conversations.

AIXiaomi introduces the MiMo-V2.6 series of models, as stated on its official MiMo page. The source excerpt gives only the tagline, describing frontier intelligence across all modalities, so specific capabilities, benchmarks, and availability cannot be confirmed from it.

AIQuintace.ai has open-sourced its superuser detection pipeline on GitHub, requiring no model training. The company says it is open to working with operators on implementation and hand review, and it published a write-up and a case from the attack.

AIDatabricks has released Funke, a Python and PySpark library and deployable pipeline that parses HL7v2 healthcare messages into native Spark types while preserving the full message hierarchy. It succeeds Smolder, the Scala data source Databricks open-sourced in 2021, and ingests through Auto Loader into Unity Catalog bronze and silver tables. Users can query segments, fields, components, and subcomponents directly with DataFrame or Spark SQL expressions.

AIThariq, who works at Anthropic, accidentally made public the GitHub repo for ai-newtab, a Chrome extension he uses daily. It replaces the new tab page with an AI-generated homepage built each day from sites he reads.

AIThariq (@trq212) says the project is built on Claude Managed Agents, with code generated in a cloud sandbox using Sonnet 5.5. He puts each run at about $0.75 and links the GitHub repository for trying it.

AIClaude Code v2.1.295 adds onFailure: "block" for command and HTTP hooks, so a hook that cannot start, times out, or exits unexpectedly blocks the action. The release also adds an optional models list for Claude apps gateway upstreams, plus upstream_request_id in the inference audit event, and fixes a range of MCP, plugin, and terminal issues.

AISherwin Wu, an OpenAI employee, says the updated Harvey LAB-AA v1.1 benchmark, announced by Artificial Analysis with Harvey, is more useful than the original LAB results. The new Hallucination-Gated All-Pass Rate credits a task only when every rubric criterion passes and no material hallucination appears. Grok 4.7 (xhigh) leads at 9.4%, while GPT-6 Astra (max) at 8.6% has very few material hallucinations.

Why it matters: The update adds a hallucination gate to a legal benchmark, showing that models with high all-pass rates can rank much lower once material errors count.

AIOpenAI's Codex 0.162.0 release adds tools for creating and listing managed Git worktrees from trusted local projects when the worktrees feature is enabled. The update also lets users pin tasks in the agent Command Center, copy transcript blocks with /copy, and make URLs clickable in approval headers, questions, and warnings, along with several Linux and Windows sandbox fixes.
