NVIDIA expands Isaac open robotics platform with humanoid, runtime and Isaac Lab 3.0
Overview
NVIDIA announces an expansion of its Isaac open robotics development platform at GTC Berlin, adding the Agile ONE SN reference humanoid, the Isaac OS runtime, and datasets.
Isaac Lab 3.0, the platform's robot learning framework, is now generally available. It trains and refines robot policies from desktop to data center using multi-GPU workflows and physics engines including Newton and NVIDIA PhysX.
The Agile ONE SN is built on Isaac GR00T and Jetson Thor and is scheduled to be available in early 2027. NVIDIA says the humanoid is designed for frontier humanoid research and development, and cites interest from Stanford University and ETH Zurich.
NVIDIA also released open source reference workflows for DGX Station and the SimReady Central Library, which has more than 2,000 simulation-ready assets on Hugging Face.
