Apple's 8GB iPad Pro reportedly has 12GB of installed memory, with 4GB unused
AIA teardown on MacRumors found that some 8GB M4 iPad Pro units use two Micron Z8DMS memory packages rated 6GB each, totaling 12GB, while Apple lists 8GB as usable. The 12GB memory figure comes from chip package markings, and no evidence confirms whether the extra 4GB can be enabled or why Apple limits it.
