Google opens Gemini and Search to third-party apps with its Connected Apps Platform
AIGoogle has launched a beta Connected Apps Platform that lets U.S. developers register third-party apps for use in Gemini and Google Search. Developers integrate through a cloud-hosted MCP server or Android MCP using AppFunctions APIs, then submit apps via the Google Connected Console.
