UK Home Office may face investigation over use of OpenAI-based asylum tools
AIA UK government watchdog is considering an investigation into the Home Office's use of generative AI tools to process asylum applications, WIRED reports. Researchers at Open Rights Group found that the share of case summaries deemed unfit for use is significantly higher than the 9 percent error rate in the government's pilot evaluation.
