OpenAI reportedly pushes "compute campuses" as name for its data centers
AIOpenAI spokesperson told Business Insider that "compute campuses" better describes the scale and role of its AI infrastructure. The term follows the Trump administration's push for "Super Intelligence" in place of "artificial intelligence," while a September Pew survey found only 4% of Americans think data centers affect the environment, utility costs, quality of life, jobs and tax revenue positively.
