oBrain launches public docs for its on-chain spiking neural network

AISummary

oBrain launches docs.obrain.cloud, documenting a biological connectome translated into a quantized, deterministic spiking neural network deployed on Arc. The company says it open-sourced the code, with licensing terms documented publicly, so researchers and developers can examine, reproduce, and build on the architecture.

Introducing oBrain Docs: Opening Biological Neural Computation to the World.

Today, we're officially launching https://docs.obrain.cloud

For us, this is more than developer documentation. It's another step toward a larger scientific mission: making biological neural computation open, reproducible, and accessible to anyone willing to explore it.

At oBrain, we've translated a biological connectome into a quantized, deterministic spiking neural network running on @Arc.

But deploying a neural system on a blockchain was never meant to be the final destination.

The next question is what the world can build with it.

We want researchers, developers, and independent builders to explore this architecture, study its neural dynamics, verify its computational behavior, and integrate oBrain into their own applications.

Imagine autonomous agents interacting with biologically inspired neural circuits. Games whose computational behavior emerges from inherited neural architectures. Scientific environments where experiments can be independently reconstructed from public records.

These are possibilities worth investigating, not outcomes we claim to have already achieved.

Our documentation opens the door to understanding the deployed contracts, neural architecture, deterministic execution model, and the technical foundations behind the experiment.

Our code is open source, with licensing terms documented publicly, because we believe meaningful scientific progress should not depend on trusting a single team.

Open science is not simply making research visible. It is making research independently examinable, reproducible, and extensible.

The broader ambition is to explore whether public blockchain infrastructure can become a shared computational substrate for experimental neuroscience, digital organisms, and new forms of verifiable scientific research.

We don't believe the future of this work should be defined by what our team builds alone.

We want to see what other minds discover, challenge, improve, and create.

To every developer, neuroscientist, researcher, and curious builder: the experiment is open.
