Nace open-sources Drex-Max v1, a 27B multimodal decision model

Nace is open-sourcing Drex-Max v1, a 27B multimodal decision model that takes text and images and has a 262K context window, according to a post by Nace's X account.

Nace says the model runs fully locally on Apple Silicon M4 and M5 chips.

Elvis Saravia, who posted about the release on X, says he has used Drex-Max for research and plans to use the open version for local research agents. His post is a user report and does not independently verify the model's performance.
