Ideogram's precise edit tools and fal's Ideogram 4.5 editing on fal.ai

Ideogram releases a Precise Edit tool in its app, API, and partner platforms, with four quality tiers priced from 0.8¢ to 22¢ per edit.

Ideogram says the context window lets users edit any area up to 2K inside very high-resolution images, with no seams or artifacts and nothing outside the window changed.

fal makes the Ideogram v4.5 edit model available to test on a fal.ai model page, first without pricing or feature details. A later fal post says the model now edits selected regions at their original resolution without downscaling the full image. Edits can use automatic windows around masks or custom bounding boxes, and fal says every pixel outside the edit window is preserved.
