Unbroker, an open-source data broker removal skill, spreads to Perplexity Computer
Overview
Perplexity says it has added the /unbroker skill, built by developer @SHL0MS, to its Computer skills marketplace, where it finds a person's data-broker listings and drafts opt-out requests.
Each request waits for user approval before it is sent. Tasks using /unbroker are free through November 6, up to 5,000 credits per user.
The skill was first promoted by Nous Research on October 25, 2026, as an open-source skill for its Hermes Agent. Nous Research and @SHL0MS say it is free, unlike paid services such as DeleteMe at $330 per year, and can run on a local model so data stays on the user's machine.

Nous Research@NousResearchOfficialUnbroker: open-source tool that removes your data from broker sitesAINous Research's @NousResearch promotes Unbroker, a skill for Hermes Agent that finds personal data exposed by data brokers and files removal requests. The tool is open-sourced by @SHL0MS, who says it is free, unlike paid services such as DeleteMe at $330 per year, and that it can run on a local model so data stays on the user's machine. It searches using all known names, aliases, emails, phones and addresses, then uses parallel sub-agents to work through the broker list.
