Grimes joins Fable's AI-generated sci-fi film Gods Don't Give Gifts

Pop star Grimes will appear in Gods Don't Give Gifts, an AI-generated sci-fi anthology from AI studio Fable, lending her likeness and vocal performance to the film, according to The Verge.

The film is directed by Jack London, known online as Gossip Goblin, and is scheduled for theatrical release on December 4.

Fable bills it as the first AI film to come to theatres. Andrew Curran, in a post on X, describes it as the first fully AI-generated feature film to receive a theatrical release and says Grimes will make her feature film debut in it. He also says the creators plan to submit the movie for Best Animated Feature consideration at the upcoming Academy Awards.
