Reachy Mini Level UP update adds smartphone app, hoverboard base, and NFC tags

Remi Fabre announces the Reachy Mini Level UP update, which includes three additions: a smartphone app for iOS and Android that removes the need for a computer to interact with the robot, a hoverboard base, and NFC tags for personalization.

Paige Bailey posts a joke that a robot on a hoverboard wearing NFC hats would make a good robotics holiday gift, and quotes Fabre's announcement while sharing three playful steps for building one. The available reports do not describe pricing, availability dates, or how the hoverboard base and NFC tags work beyond the announcement.
