Replit says GPT and Claude models each produce distinct default app UI styles

Replit says each AI model family has a house visual style when building app interfaces: GPT models favor illustrations and large headlines, while Claude models build plainer screens.

Replit attributes the difference to specs describing what a product does rather than how it looks, so models fall back on their own taste.

Replit also says the best-looking builds were no more likely to pass its checks.
