Design Arena ranks Anthropic's Claude Haiku 5.5 and Sonnet 5.5 higher on its leaderboards

Design Arena says Claude Haiku 5.5 is up 203 Elo on Haiku 4.5 on its Game Dev frontier, and Claude Sonnet 5.5 is up 170 Elo on Sonnet 5, both at the same price.

Haiku 4.5 costs a tenth as much per token as Haiku 5.5, which Design Arena lists at $0.10 input and $0.50 output per 1M tokens.

In a follow-up post, Design Arena says Sonnet 5.5 and Haiku 5.5 reach the Pareto frontier for price versus performance in Data Visualization, Game Dev and UI Components, with Haiku 5.5 also on the 3D Design frontier. Sonnet 5.5 ranks #2 in Data Visualization and #3 in Game Dev and UI Components. Haiku 5.5 ranks #11 in 3D Design, #15 in Data Visualization, #20 in UI Components and #24 in Game Dev, up from #114, #121, #120 and #121 for Haiku 4.5.
