OpenRouter adds ElevenLabs speech models at 50% off through October 19

OpenRouter has added ElevenLabs as a provider, letting users call nine text-to-speech models and two speech-to-text models with an OpenRouter API key, without a separate ElevenLabs plan, according to OpenRouter's blog and X posts.

The text-to-speech models support up to 90+ languages, and the speech-to-text models provide speaker labels and word-level timestamps.

OpenRouter says all ElevenLabs models are 50% off its list price, but only on OpenRouter and only through October 19 at 8am PT. Its blog recommends Eleven v4, v4 Turbo, and Scribe v2 as starting points. Eleven v4, v3, and Multilingual v2 bill the full per-character rate, while v4 Turbo, v3 Conversational, Flash, and Turbo bill half of it.

A later OpenRouter X post says ElevenLabs took nearly a third of spend on OpenRouter's text-to-speech models the day before, after seven days live on the platform. The post does not give a dollar figure or share of total platform spend.
