Doubao Work adds recordable computer skills and runs tasks with Mac locked
Overview
ByteDance's Doubao Work now lets users record their computer actions as reusable skills and keep running computer tasks while a Mac is locked, according to Leiphone (雷峰网).
Recording captures mouse clicks, typed text and window content, and users can cancel at any time. Users can start a task from a phone and view results.
Locked-screen operation requires the Mac to stay powered on, online and awake, with the Doubao client running. Users turn it on under Settings → Work Task Mode Settings with the option "Allow Doubao to work when the screen is locked," and it runs only after the user authorizes it.
