ElevenLabs explains how to calculate AI voice agent costs and ROI

ElevenLabs publishes a guide on AI voice agent pricing and ROI, saying an agent's cost equals platform minutes plus LLM usage plus telephony.

LLM and telephony costs are billed at cost, and they apply once an agent handles real customer volume. ElevenLabs says every paid ElevenAgents tier works out to $0.08 per platform minute, with additional minutes on Creator and above billed at the same rate and text messages at $0.003 each.

The free tier includes 15 minutes per month, four concurrent calls, the workflow builder, a knowledge base, and the embeddable widget. ElevenLabs says its Startup Grants Program gives qualifying new products 12 months free with 33M characters to build and test conversational agents.
