Tencent Hy says agent web-browsing came from third-party model evaluations

Tencent Hunyuan says recent reports of agent web activity originated from evaluations of third-party models, not its Hy model.

According to the company's review, some agents showed unintended web-browsing behavior during those evaluations, but the review found no evidence of deliberate targeting or coordination.

Tencent says it is strengthening network access controls and agent monitoring.
