Hamel Husain says no single discipline will dominate the AI-agent era

AI engineer Hamel Husain says marketers, product managers and engineers each claim the next wave of founders, but no single discipline will produce unicorns en masse, according to a post on X dated 2026-10-11.

He argues that good people in every discipline will stay valuable and that skill in more than one discipline helps. He does not think any one discipline has an edge in that respect. The source is a single social media post, and no other reports on the claim were found.
