OpenRouter adds Moondream's Parakeet Ultra speech-to-text model

OpenRouter announces that Parakeet Ultra, Moondream's post-trained version of NVIDIA's Parakeet TDT 0.6B v3, is now available on its platform.

OpenRouter says the model has lower word error rate than the base model on every benchmark group. It supports 25 European languages and provides segment and word timestamps.

Parakeet Ultra costs $0.06 per hour of audio and is served by Prime Intellect. Moondream's own claim is that it delivers better transcripts with the same small model. The benchmark results are reported by OpenRouter and have not been independently verified in these reports.
