Cisco gives engineer unlimited AI tokens to rewrite legacy code

Cisco president Jeetu Patel gave engineer Padmanabhan Krishnamurthy unlimited AI tokens to rewrite 98% of the company's legacy code within 24 months, according to a post by Joshua Achiam.

Krishnamurthy says he thinks he can do it with a two-person team, and he has four weeks to prove the approach.
