Joshua Achiam jokes Silicon Valley speedruns Ender's Game technologies

OpenAI researcher Joshua Achiam posted on X that Silicon Valley tends to speedrun every technology from Ender's Game and its sequels.

He joked that now that ASI is doing theoretical physics, a YC hype wave of ansible companies is about five seconds away. An ansible is the faster-than-light communication device in Orson Scott Card's novels. The post is a joke, not a statement of plans or a forecast from any company.
