Hermes Agent adds main release channel, browser desktop app and inline images
Overview
Teknium, maintainer of Hermes Agent, says users can try the agent early by switching its release channel from "stable" to "main." Tony Simons says a merged pull request by @BearHuddleston adds "hermes webapp," which runs the Hermes Desktop interface in any browser from the user's own host, with chat, files, git, a persistent terminal and remote sign-in. The reports do not say how the release channel is changed or how often the main channel is updated.
Teknium also says Hermes Agent v0.23 can show full-resolution images inline in most terminals. According to @witcheer, pasted images appear in the chat as real pixels in Kitty and Ghostty, and as colored blocks in other terminals.
