Design Arena ranks Nano Banana 2.1 first in a head-to-head travel ad image test

Design Arena says Google DeepMind's Nano Banana 2.1 took first place in a head-to-head test with a photoreal travel ad for the White Rann of Kutch, showing a salt desert, a phone rising from the ground, and a golden-hour tent camp.

In its separate leaderboard ranking, Design Arena places Nano Banana 2.1 at a tied #10 overall and first among Google's image models, and says Google now ranks among the top five image labs. The same post says Nano Banana 2.1 averages 16 seconds per generation, 33% faster than Nano Banana 2.
