Skyfall AI's SKY-001 engineering world model claims to beat GPT-6 Astra on CAD and BIM

AISkyfall AI releases SKY-001, which it calls the first world model specialized in engineering tasks. According to Skyfall's tests, SKY-001 outperforms GPT-6 Astra and Opus 5.5 on CAD and BIM tasks, running about 120 times faster and costing about 185 times less per case. The model is currently a Compositional Visual World Model that breaks physical objects into parts and rebuilds them as a visual plan in CAD.

AISkyfall AI released SKY-001, a world model that turns one photo of an engine or car into a tree of parts and the sketch-and-operation sequence for each. It says a specialist model matches the accuracy of the strongest general LLM on CAD and floor-plan design while costing 150x to 185x less. A Hierarchical Composer breaks the object into assemblies, and a Construction World Model predicts each part's build steps.
