Claude Opus 5.5 leads Design Arena frontend leaderboards, per Design Arena

Design Arena says Anthropic's Claude Opus 5.5 ranks first on four of its leaderboards: Overall Frontend, Data Visualization, 3D Design, and React Native, and in the top three on Game Dev and UI Components, about two weeks after release.

The rankings come from Design Arena's own leaderboard votes, and the platform reported them itself; the reports include no independent verification.

In a later post, Design Arena compared about 400 game-building generations, 241 from Opus 5.5 and 166 from GPT-6 Astra. It says Opus 5.5 produced code about 1.3 times faster, measured in characters per second of total generation time, and that its finished games contain about 44% less code. Its analysis of thinking summaries and finished games found Opus focused on game mechanics, while Astra focused more on page layout, controls, and accessibility.
