Perplexity adds decision models to Numbat security monitoring tool

Perplexity says its decision models can now be used inside Numbat, its security monitoring tool, through the Perplexity Decider API. Perplexity CEO Aravind Srinivas announced the change on X on November 3, 2026, alongside the release of Numbat v0.3.0.

Srinivas says the decision models are useful for security monitoring. He also says experimental decision rules are available on a separate branch for testing.
