Apple adds an AI assistant to Pages, Keynote and Numbers in beta
Overview
Apple is adding an AI assistant to Pages, Keynote and Numbers, built on Apple and OpenAI models, according to The Verge.
The assistant can edit slides, draft and restructure text, and build charts and tables. It is rolling out in beta only on Apple Intelligence devices running iOS 27, iPadOS 27 or macOS 27 or later.
Keynote, Pages and Numbers also support the Model Context Protocol on macOS 27 or later, which lets third-party AI agents connect to the apps. Apple's Creator's Studio updates will be free for existing subscribers in November.
