Messi's ChatGPT exchanges: chess opening suggestion and room redesign prompt

ChatGPT's official X account reported on October 22, 2026, that Lionel Messi asked it to teach him a chess opening matching his style, and that it suggested the Goat Horns opening.

An OpenAI YouTube video shows the same exchange, using the prompt "Based on what you know about me, teach me something new. Show me step by step." The video promotes ChatGPT's Intelligent UI, and as first-party material it shows only that OpenAI presented the exchange, not how the response was produced.

A later OpenAI YouTube video, published November 4, 2026, shows Messi asking ChatGPT to reimagine an empty room in his style, using the prompt "Reimagine this room in my style. Surprise me." OpenAI presents this prompt as one readers can try themselves.
