Overshoot launches inference software promising to halve customers' GPU bills

Overshoot, an inference optimization software product, is launched with a guarantee to cut customers' GPU bills in half with zero quality loss, or customers pay nothing.

Jerry Liu (@jerryjliu0) announced the launch on X on October 16, 2026, and the company says its forward-deployed work with AI teams has cumulatively saved over $5M.

The company says the software packages lessons from months of forward-deployed engineering with AI teams who were optimizing their inference stacks. The savings figure and the halving claim are the company's own statements and have not been independently verified.
