Agility picks Nyobolt fast-charging batteries for Digit 5 humanoid

Agility Robotics says it is working with Nyobolt on a fast-recharge battery system for its Digit 5 humanoid robot. The new battery delivers 90 minutes of runtime and charges in nine minutes, a 10:1 run-to-charge ratio up from 2:1 on Digit 4. Agility expects early access to Digit 5 with the technology in the first half of 2027.
