Yuanshi Intelligence's Apex Hand shows dexterous hands must clear reliability and data hurdles
AIYuanshi Intelligence founder Yang Sicheng says dexterous hands must balance reliability, dexterity, load capacity, dynamic response, tactile sensing and precision rather than maximize one metric. At IROS 2026, the company's 21-degree-of-freedom Apex Hand held over 10 kg of water bottles for eight hours and survived high-impact tasks like driving nails.
