Prosper AI study finds $125,000 per physician revenue opportunity for specialty practices

Prosper AI estimates specialty practices could gain about $125,000 per physician annually from four AI-enabled levers: capturing missed calls, re-engaging patients, preventing claim denials, and recovering patient balances.

The study draws on data from more than $3 billion in managed care and a survey of about 2,000 practices across 29 states. One practice in North Carolina reported a 17 percent rise in booked appointments in August 2026 after Prosper AI began handling its calls.
