AIAnthropic says Claude Code spend on Google Cloud can be managed through three levers: control, track, and prove. The Claude apps gateway, which runs in a customer's Google Cloud project, sets spend caps per user, IdP group, or organization, and it returns a 429 error once a cap is reached.
