AnyLanguageModel 1.0 adds hosted providers, tool calling, and guided generation for Swift apps
AIHugging Face releases AnyLanguageModel 1.0, a drop-in replacement for Apple's Foundation Models framework that lets Swift apps use local or hosted models through one API. Tool calling and guided generation now work with every provider, and hosted options include OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Ollama Private Cloud Compute, and Hugging Face Inference Providers. The release is paired with swift-huggingface 1.0 and swift-xet 1.0 for accelerated model downloads from the Hub.
