Apple has launched HomeView, a 7-inch Siri screen priced at $299 in the US, with preorders open October 13 and sales from November 13.
The screen recognizes up to six family members through facial recognition, but personal content appears only when that person's paired iPhone or iPad is on the same Wi-Fi and recently unlocked.
In mainland China, only the HomePod mini 2 is available for preorder, at 1099 yuan, and HomeView has no announced China plan.
