Alibaba's XuanTie C950 wins top 'China Chip' innovation award
AIAlibaba DAMO Academy's XuanTie C950, a server-grade RISC-V processor IP, won the "Major Innovation Breakthrough Product" award at the 2026 "China Chip" conference in Zhuhai on November 2. The chip reaches 3.2GHz and sets a RISC-V single-core SPECint2006 score above 70, and it runs Qwen and DeepSeek large models natively on its CPU through built-in Vector and Matrix AI engines.
