AIA maker built a calorie tracker that runs MiniCPM-V-4.7-35B-A3B locally on a phone to identify food from photos and estimate calories. The phone syncs daily intake to an ESP32 display with a green, yellow, and red progress ring, and the project is open-sourced on GitHub at emwstudio/esp32-intake.
