Databricks expands SAP partnership to simplify access to SAP data

AIDatabricks says it is expanding its partnership with SAP, announced at SAP TechEd. The new SAP Application Data Foundation simplifies access to cloud and on-premises SAP application data in SAP Databricks, which Databricks says can reduce custom pipelines, total cost of ownership, and time to value.

With Genie, Lakebase, Unity Gateway, and Lakeflow coming to the platform, teams can put that data to work across analytics, apps, and AI agents.
