Apple's HomePod 27.2 update adds features to older HomePod models
AIApple's HomePod 27.2 software, available to developers and public beta testers, adds Lock Controls to older HomePod and HomePod Mini models. The 2nd-gen HomePod also gets Sound Glow, Mac audio output and a four-speaker array with the fourth-gen Apple TV 4K, while the 1st-gen HomePod Mini gets Sound Glow RGB lighting.
