Demeta Bio's oral LDHA inhibitor MP-5342 starves overactive immune cells of energy
AIDemeta Bio says its oral small-molecule LDHA inhibitor MP-5342, co-developed with XtalPi, targets glycolysis in overactive immune cells to restore immune balance without broad suppression. The company reports a safety window above 600 times, far beyond the typical threshold of 40 times, and plans to enter Phase I trials in healthy volunteers in 2027 and Phase IIa patient trials in 2028.
