ChinaTalk discusses how DUV lithography exports to China shape AI chip capacity under the MATCH Act
AINick Brown of the Center for Technology and Statecraft says China imported roughly 90 immersion DUV lithography systems a year in 2024 and 2025, nearly two-thirds of ASML's immersion DUV exports. He argues that restricting these exports could keep US AI chip production ahead into the 2030s.
