Alibaba's XuanTie RISC-V chips pass 6 billion shipments as it targets AI and autos
AIAlibaba's Damo Academy says more than 6 billion chips have shipped based on its XuanTie RISC-V architecture, Chief Scientist Meng Jianyi announced at the RISC-V Summit China in Shenzhen. Meng cited Omdia forecasts that global RISC-V processor shipments will grow nearly 30% a year and could reach about 25% of the worldwide processor market by 2030.
