Penmentor uses Claude, Gemini or GPT to mark handwritten math in xournal++
AIPenmentor is an open-source MIT-licensed tool that sends handwritten math from xournal++ to Claude, Gemini, or GPT, which marks the page like a teacher and gives hints instead of answers. It also generates interactive manim animations from boxed integrals, and runs on Claude Code, Codex, or Antigravity CLI using the user's existing subscription.
