AIOpenBMB praises a demo in which MiniCPM-V 4.7 1B correctly reads a nutrition label while running locally on an iPhone. In the demo, the model reports 160 kcal, the figure on the label, where Bonsai 2 2B reports 100 kcal on the same photo and prompt.

MiniCPM got it right. Bonsai got it wrong. The label says 160 kcal. MiniCPM-V 4.7 1B: 160 ✅ Bonsai 2 2B: 100 ❌ Same photo, same prompt. Running locally on iPhone in my app. Generation sped up 4×. @OpenBMB @PrismML https://apps.apple.com/app/id6804004948
