Google AI Mode dodges direct answers on 2020 and 2024 US presidential election winners
AIGoogle's AI Mode declined to name the winner of the 2020 US presidential election when asked directly, instead telling the user to consult the Federal Election Commission. The same response appeared for the 2024 election, while the tool gave correct winners for other elections going back to 2000.
