Selendis's Archon video model learns creator taste from editing behavior

AISelendis has introduced Archon, a video foundation model that turns raw footage into a finished edit zero-shot and keeps learning each creator's cutting style. The taste signal comes from accept and reject decisions in Selendis's multiplayer editor, a creator's past video catalogue, and reference videos the creator cites.

Creative tools are starting to learn taste from behaviour instead of from prompts.

Archon, the video foundation model from @SelendisAI, takes raw footage and returns a finished edit zero-shot, then keeps learning how a specific creator likes to cut.

The taste signal comes from three places:

  • decisions made inside Selendis’s multiplayer editor
  • the creator’s past video catalogue
  • reference videos the creator cites

i.e. Archon treats taste as a learnable per-user prior, conditioned on a creator’s back catalogue, cited reference videos and accept/reject decisions inside the editor.

Archon powers personal AI video editors that learn each creator’s taste from: - Decisions made in our multiplayer editor - Their past video catalogue - Reference videos they cite Every video edited makes the editor more accurate for that creator or team.
