Databricks recruiter Clara Kurian on India growth and early career hiring

Databricks' first university recruiter for APJ, Clara Kurian, describes the company's India expansion from Bengaluru, where India headcount has grown 270% since 2022 and Engineering has grown 14x.

She says Databricks runs a 51-person India intern program, with mentoring from engineering leaders and hackathons across the IITs and IISc. Databricks has invested more than $250M in India and plans 50% workforce expansion.
