Ai2 says HiRO-ACEv2 extends HiRO-ACE to downscale near-surface winds and sea level pressure in addition to rainfall. It works in two stages: the ACE AI climate emulator simulates climate at 100 km resolution, then the HiROv2 downscaling model sharpens the outputs to 3 km.
