Cloudera pitches portability across clouds and on-premises as its AI edge
AICloudera is positioning itself as an anywhere cloud for AI, emphasizing on-premises infrastructure, sovereign clouds and the ability to move workloads between them, according to SiliconANGLE's Paul Gillin. Gillin says open-weight models grew from about 20% of token use two years ago to more than 80% today, and Cloudera is adding agentic workflows built to manage data and optimize GPU capacity.
